| Collection Notes:The specimen source is required. Indicate the exact site where the specimen was obtained. Avoid collecting specimens from sites with large number of normal flora; acceptable specimens include cervical, penis, urethral, vaginal, vulva. Collect specimen using the swab from a culturette transport tube. Place the specimen in a sterile, leak proof container. Submit the labeled culturette/sterile container to the laboratory. Susceptibility testing will be performed at an additional charge. | |
